The Virtual Reality Studio offers students, faculty and staff access to virtual reality and augmented reality technologies to further advance experiences, education and research,” Alicia Rohan writes in the recent UAB News article regarding the new studio managed by UAB Libraries’ Emerging Technology Librarian, Dorothy Ogdon.

The UAB Libraries are excited to announce the expansion of our document delivery service to the entire UAB campus. The document delivery service allows UAB faculty, staff, and students to request a copy of any journal article or book chapter from the UAB Libraries’ print collections housed in Sterne Library, Lister Hill Library, or the 801 Building.
The Spanish and Latino Student Association (SALSA) will present a panel discussion on “Social Issues in Latino Communities,” on Thursday, February 21, from 6:30-7:30 pm in Mervyn H. Sterne Library Room #174. Join us for this panel with experts in the fields of health care and law to hear about some of the social issues that Latino communities face around the U.S. Light refreshments will be served.
