UAB Libraries are again holding our Toys for Fines holiday charity drive to bring smiles to children who may not otherwise receive gifts this holiday season. Library users with overdue fines (current or prior) can have up to $20 waived when they donate a new, unwrapped toy for a child (infant through 12 years of age) to the Toys for Tots drive. These contributions will support UAB’s 26th Annual Holiday Toy Drive in conjunction with Toys for Tots to benefit local children.
The November Image of the Month from UAB Archives has been posted.
UAB Libraries and UAB’s Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) have similar goals: to increase learning through enhancing faculty teaching skills. A collaboration between these two entities can lead to student success and faculty teaching improvement. As the amount of information available through the library and online increases, defining and narrowing relevant resources has become more difficult.
