UAB Libraries offers several services for community members and UAB alumni. This includes accessing materials, using the library facilities, and viewing special and historical collections.

Borrowing Materials

Members of the UAB Alumni Society and community members that fall within certain categories may borrow materials from UAB Libraries. For more information, visit the Borrow & Renew page.

Courtesy Cards at Sterne

Courtesy cards may be issued at the Sterne HUB service desk to patrons who do not fall into the above categories. For more information, visit the Borrow & Renew page.

Consumer Health Information Services

Community Services at Lister Hill Library includes a range of consumer health information activities such as Health InfoNet of Alabama, a free health information service of the state medical and public libraries.
