About Reynolds-Finley

Welcome to the Reynolds-Finley Historical Library, a growing collection of over 14,000 rare books, manuscripts, journals, and pamphlets pertaining to the history of medicine, science, and health care, dating from the 1300s through the mid-1900s. The library is free and open to the public.


Visitors are welcome to view our displays, Monday – Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Research, classes and tours are by appointment. Please contact us in advance to arrange a time.
