Help Us Preserve and Promote the History of Medicine
Historical Collections, comprised of the Reynolds-Finley Historical Library, Alabama Museum of the Health Sciences, and UAB Archives, depends on the generous support of Associates members to help fund unit activities. Brought together by a shared scholarly interest in the discipline of the history of the health sciences and an appreciation for rare books and artifacts, the Associates help sponsor the following activities each year:
- Research Fellowships
- the Reynolds-Finley Historical Lecture Series
- community outreach
- educational exhibits
- the development of unit-related publications
Give to the Pappas Gallery
The Dennis G. Pappas Historical Collections Gallery, a 3,000-square-foot space on the second floor of Lister Hill Library of the Health Sciences, will house rotating exhibitions featuring the Historical Collections of UAB Libraries.
