On behalf of the UAB Libraries DEI Task Force, we would like to commemorate the brave individuals who have been impacted in one way or another by breast cancer. As the month of October comes to an end, we would like to provide those who are interested with some useful resources from the CDC (pdf) as well as the FDA (pdf). Please keep in mind that while rare, men can get breast cancer too. In addition to this information, we are giving away breast cancer awareness pins and stickers while supplies last. Pick up yours at either the HUB desk at Lister Hill or at Sterne Library. We also invite you to wear pink tomorrow Thursday, October 28th as a sign of solidarity for those impacted by breast cancer.
