Our Services

Reference Services
Two full-time librarians are available to provide on-site assistance to the faculty and staff of UAB Medicine. The reference librarians can help with a wide variety of information needs, including mediated literature searches, consultations on specific information needs, assistance with locating resources, and hands-on training for individuals or groups. Requests for these services may be made by telephone, by email, or booked online.

Table of Contents Service
The Table of Contents (TOC) service provides UAB clinicians with an easy and effective way to keep up with the biomedical literature. With this service, you will receive a weekly email containing the table of contents of up to 15 journals containing online content. Links will connect to full text for journals which are available electronically through UAB Libraries.
