In conjunction with UAB’s 2022 Toy Drive, UAB Libraries are again holding our Toys for Fines holiday charity drive to bring smiles to children who may not otherwise receive gifts this holiday season. Library users with overdue fines (current or prior) can have up to $20 waived when they donate a new, unwrapped toy for a child (infant through 16 years of age) to the Toys for Tots drive.
These contributions will support UAB’s 29th Annual Holiday Toy Drive to benefit local children. UAB Libraries drop off locations are at Lister Hill Library near the HUB on the 1st floor, as well as the Mervyn Sterne Library near the HUB on the 1st floor. If you’d like you also may purchase a toy online from one of UAB’s wish list, Target or Amazon.
UAB IT will host photos with Santa in front of the TechConnect store at the Hill Student Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30th. Students and employees are welcome to attend. Also meet Santa Claus at Cudworth Hall for the final pickup day on Dec.14th.
