On September 10, Engineering Academic Challenge 2018 kicks off. Join thousands of students from hundreds of institutions around the world for this five-week challenge and immerse yourself in an online active learning experience harnessing the combined power of Knovel and Engineering Village to tackle real-world problems.

The challenge questions are contributed by engineering students, faculty, and librarians around the world. You can play individually or set up a team of up to five players. Teams are not limited to one institution; you may form teams with students from any school or university. You can gain recognition in the champions leaderboard and win Amazon gift cards. A weekly winner will be announced, and two grand prize winners will be announced at the end of the competition: one for the best individual player and one for the team with the most points. Learn more, and sign up to participate. It would be great to see several UAB students in the mix AND on the leaderboard. Go Blazers!
