In order to streamline Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services and provide an easier ILL experience for our users, the UAB Libraries is changing the way you access your ILL account. Beginning on September 1, 2020, all ILL requests must be made through the UAB Libraries ILL website. This will allow all UAB users to access their ILL account from a single website and eliminate the need to maintain multiple ILL accounts.

If you are an existing Sterne Library ILL user, you don’t need to do anything. You can log into the new site using your current ILL account information. If you are an existing Lister Hill Library ILL user, you will be prompted to create a new ILL account the first time you log into the new site. All users can now add a pickup location for physical items (either Sterne Library or Lister Hill Library) in their ILL accounts.

Existing Lister Hill ILL accounts will remain active for accessing request histories and requested electronic items until November 1, 2020. After that date, those accounts will no longer be accessible, but you will still be able to get a copy of your request history from our ILL staff.
